Many of you know by now that we have introduced the new layout, and with this new layout comes a lot of new options. One of these new options that stands out the most, is the new event calendar located on the main page's top-right column. This new option provides easy access to information regarding upcoming Dead or Alive and Videogaming events, including the announcement for the return of our Dead or Alive Central Online Tournaments!

 Itagaki & Team Ninja returns

Creator of the DoA series and DoaCentral's good friend Tomonobu Itagaki-san  has a new team and new company.  The new team has a bunch of former Team Ninja members from TECMO in it and the first  game is targeted for the Xbox 360.

DoaCentral Website Update

So my partner in DoA crime Virtua Pai looked up our old homegamers site (forerunner to DoaCentral) and reminded me that it's actually been around 8 years since we started the website featuring Dead or Alive and creating an HQ recognizing the hardcore DoA community.

A lot has changed sinced then but despite the fact that we all know DoA is overdue for an updated version of the game the DoA series still maintains a dedicated fanbase and community.  Like the DoA series DoaCentral is also overdue for an update. So we're starting with a new layout for website.

Special Props to Sorwah for the major work on the layout design and also Semi for some great graphic work and new animated badge.

The content, information, character strats, tournaments and events, art, fanfiction, videos etc. etc. all comes from the DoA Fan Community.  That's you. Unfortunately both the original homegamers site and the successor DoaCentral were eventually hacked by the same internet hackers that apparently have nothing better to do than figure out how to destroy other people hard work all over the internet on a daily basis.  The signs of that hacking are still there on both sites even though we've always managed to recover at least partially.

So much of the content on the prior layout is hacked giving us more incentive to start a makeover.  DoaCentral's Admins, Editors and community can start creating new content but for now most links will take you to the forums where the best DoA info still lies for the moment. 

Keep an eye peeled for updates to the new site with it's own copies and fresh content coming.  Wouldn't it be nice if all this was completed just in time for some news from our friends at Tecmo Inc. on the fate of our favorite little fighter?

This past weekend, members of the DoA community came out and represented Dead or Alive 4 very well. At the end of the day, however, it was BlackMamba that triumphed as the WCG 2009 DoA4 Figther Club Champion.
